El Camino Rises to #4 On Latest CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings

El Camino tops the South Coast Conference and is #4 on this week's Home Run 30.

Six weeks into the the CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings (Feb. 23-Mar. 1), we learned that you can't win them all. State #1 Fresno City College had its 16-game win streak snapped in the finale of a 3-game series v. Sequoias and that eliminated the last of the undefeated in 2026.

The Rams (16-1) still won the series over the Giants, 2-games-to-1, and top the state rankings for the second straight week.

Santa Ana holds on to #2 and tops from the South Region, Ohlone at #3, then El Camino springs up five slots to #4, Palomar remains #5, San Joaquin Delta climbs to #6 as does Santa Rosa JC to #7, Cypress slips a bit to #8, Skyline jumps into the top 10 at #9, and Modesto holds on at #10. Antelope Valley also standing tall at #11.

Riverside City leaps to #12, Citrus bolts up six to #14, and Feather River continues its ascent, flying up eight spots to #18. Glendale had the biggest fall from out of the top 10 to #21.

The entire 8-team, Orange Empire Conference occupies positions in the top 25.

The Coast South pair of Monterey Peninsula (#23) and Hartnell (#24) enter the Home Run 30 while Los Medanos and Cabrillo fall out.

3.	OHLONE, Coast South	15-1	The Renegades have scored 16 or more wins in eight wins and totaled 41 v. De Anza and CC San Francisco last week. Cam Hegamin was 5-for-6 with 6 RBI in the two wins.	#3	Same
4.	EL CAMINO, South Coast	14-2	The Warriors swept Long Beach in a 3-game series, extends win streak to 7 and lead the SCC at 6-0. In the finale, ECC scored a run in the 9th to tie it, then walked it off, 5-4, on a RBI double by Dylan Mares.	#9	Up 5 spots
5.	PALOMAR, Pacific Coast Athletic	12-3	The Comets swept a 2-game series v. SD Mesa to open PCAC play. Michael Rodda was 5-for-9 with a HR, 3B and 5 RBI in the two victories.	Same
6.	SAN JOAQUIN DELTA, Big 8	13-3	The Mustangs swept Diablo Valley, outscoring the Vikings, 25-2 in the 3-game series that started Big 8 play. In 27 innings, Delta pitchers limited DVC to just 15 hits and struck out 27 batters. Vance Haskins 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R was best of the bunch in 15-0 win in finale.	#7	Up 1 spot
7.	SANTA ROSA JC, Big 8	13-3	The Bear Cubs continue to sizzle, sweeping Cosumnes River in a 3-game series to open Big 8 play. Their win streak of 10 games is the state's current longest string. Brett Neidlinger slugged a pair of HRs and 4 RBI in the second game 8-4 win.	#8	Up 1 spot
8.	CYPRESS, Orange Empire	12-4	The Chargers had a 7-game win streak snapped by Citrus, 6-5, then swept a 2-game set v. Canyons. Justin Tillar with a torrid week as he ropes 4 HRs, 2 2B, and 7 RBI. As a freshman he led the state in home runs with 22, but he was without one for the first 13 games this year until going yard in all three games last week.	#4	Down 4 spots
9.	SKYLINE, Coast North	14-3	The Trojans beat Gavilan, West Valley and Cabrillo to extend win streak to 5. In the first two victories, Brayden Smith exploded for 6-for-10 with 2 HR, 2B and 9 RBI.	#12	Up 3 spots
10.	MODESTO, Big 8	13-3	The Pirates won 2 of 3 v. Sacramento as they began Big 8 action. Ryan Silva's 2-RBI single in the top of the 9th won the opener, 8-7.	#10	Same
11.	ANTELOPE VALLEY, Western State South	13-3	The Marauders had a 7-game win streak broken by Taft and split a 2-game set v. the Cougars. State RBI leader Jayden Steinhurst is on a 17-for-25 tear (.680) and 15 RBI in the last 6 games.	#11	Same
12.	RIVERSIDE CITY, Orange Empire	13-5	The Tigers set a school record with 21 runs in the 1st inning of a 29-1 win over Barstow. RCC sent 26 batters to the plate, the first 22 incredibly reaching safely on 13 hits, six walks and three HBPs. Six pinch hitters batted in the long frame. Riverside has won 4 straight. 13.	IRVINE VALLEY, Orange Empire	13-4	The Lasers won a 2-game set v. LA Valley, then lost to LA Mission. In the second game v. the Monarchs, IVC scores 2 in the 9th for a 5-3 win keyed by a 2-out, RBI double by Caleb Caparco.	#14	Up 1 spot
14.	CITRUS, Western State South	11-5	The Owls edged Cypress, lost a close one to Riverside (3-1), then beat Golden West, 3-1, in a great showing v. high-ranked OEC squads. In the 6-5 win v. the Chargers, Jordan Daniels homered and hit a RBI single during a 6-run, 2nd inning.	#20	Up 6 spots
15.	GOLDEN WEST, Orange Empire	12-5	The Rustlers swept Chaffey in a 2-game set, then saw their 9-game win streak stopped by Citrus. Six GWC pitchers combined for a 1-hitter in an 8-1 win v. the Panthers as starter Caiden Christianson threw 4 no-hit IP, 7 K.	#13	Down 2 spots

	VENTURA, Western State North	10-8	The Pirates sweep 3-game series v. Moorpark, have won 5 straight and lead the WSC North at 5-1. Team leading batter Brandon Contreras delivered a RBI double in the 7th to give VC a 1-0 win in the opener.
	CERRITOS, South Coast	9-8	The Falcons are off to a 5-1 start to SCC play, including beating Pasadena, then sweeping Compton, outscoring the Coyotes, 47-7, in their 3-game series. Tyler Peshke put on a power display with HRs in 3 straight games in an 8-for-17, 2 2B, 7 RBI performance in the 4 wins.
	AMERICAN RIVER, Big 8	9-8	The Beavers win 2 of 3 v. Sierra to open Big 8 play. Brandon Pelechowicz does it all in a 10-9, 10-inn win in game 2. He goes 4-for-4 with 2 HR, and pitches 4 IP of 2-hit relief for the mound win.
	SACRAMENTO CITY, Big 8	9-8	The Panthers lose 2 of 3 v. Modesto and are 1-7 in their last 8 games. Jackson Norton was 5-for-9, 2B, HR, and 6 RBI in the first two games of the series.
	CUESTA, Western State North	10-9	The Cougars won a series-opening, 17-13 slugfest over Santa Barbara, then see a 6-game win streak sliced as the Vaqueros take 2 of 3 with back-to-back victories. Jack Gradel is 6-for-12, 2 HR, 4 RBI in the SBCC series.
	COLLEGE OF MARIN, Bay Valley	8-7	The Mariners edged #28 San Mateo, then beat #19 Folsom Lake. Ben Sebastiani, who had an 8-game hit streak end a week ago, goes 3-for-8 in the 2 wins.
	YUBA, Bay Valley	8-6	The 49ers did not play last week. Nathaniel Hurley leads the team in batting at .432
